DISCOVER : Discovering What’s Next™ connects people 50 plus with resources that can help them successfully navigate their transition to and journey through their next life stage. Our most important resources are the people in our network. If you live in the greater Boston area, we encourage you to participate in our community inspired activities by getting involved. In the future, we hope to provide a way that people at a distance can still benefit from our people resources.
If you live in the area, please visit the DWN HUB on the third floor of the Newton Free Library. There you will find shelves filled with books, periodicals, pamphlets, brochures and specially created resource binders. HUB computers provide access to relevant online resources and databases on topics such as work, lifelong learning, health issues, civic engagement, financial planning, and leisure activities. For personal guidance, trained Transition Navigators™ are available at selected times of the week. The following resource binders are currently available at the DWN HUB:
Volume I Eldercare Resource Volume II Long Distance Caring Volume III Advanced Health Care Planning
